2009 First track

The first track of 2009 was from Umbrian valley
to San Paterniano hermitage.
Special guest of this walk was my friend
Gabriele and his nokia N82. The view below
the serpentine mountain road was a dizzy
scenery, whereas up to the mountain there
was a frozen atmosphere. Our path through
the woods was iced up and the majority of
the walk takes place on very difficult
ground and a slide is around the corner!

Finally I did it! I walked through the snow in
the SIC IT5210047 (Serano-Brunette mountains) for
about 7 km. It was a very cold morning, some
degrees under 0 °C, but I couldn't miss this
opportunity: more than 20 mm of snow fell in
Pettino valley. When I woke up, weather was nice
and in site lights were great. This is the result
and I hope that a fresh breeze travels across the
net and carries to all of you a lucky and
wonderful 2009.
